The Faces of Greer: Ivey Tapp

Meet Ivey Tapp!  I would like to introduce you to the youngest nominee for the Faces of Greer.  Ivey Tapp is nine years old and is a fourth grader at Chandler Creek Elementary school.  Despite Ivey’s young age, she has had a significant impact on the Greer community and is considered a “true gem”.  Ivey’s generosity started when she was one and has become a tradition each year on her birthday.  Each year, Ivey and her parents drop off bins around the Greer community to collect canned goods and money for Greer Community Ministries.  This year, Ivey dropped off a check for $10,545 and hundreds of canned goods.  Every year, the donations are growing and especially this year with COVID-19, the show of support was impressive.  Please join me in thanking Ivey for her hard work and generosity.  We are grateful to have her #hereinGreer.

Ivey was nominated by Alison Rauch.
