Greer is a city shared between Greenville and Spartanburg counties in South Carolina. The population was 32,102 as of 2018. Greer is a great place to live, work, and play! Greer is home to the only BMW manufacturing facility in North America, the Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport, and the Inland Port. BMW’s Greer plant employs about 11,000 people, and has attracted dozens of suppliers in South Carolina, providing jobs for thousands—increasing the need for housing and neighborhood developments. The South Carolina Inland Port is an intermodal facility that receives and sends containers by rail to the Port of Charleston. The town of Greer is actively working on a long term revitalization project that will entice more people to visit and live here.
